Mediation
As a former member of the District Court bench, Judge Isaacks is highly trained and experienced in legal mediation. She is an expert at assessing disputes and the related legal issues in order to swiftly achieve an agreeable settlement for all parties. Judge Isaacks can also help clients avoid unwanted public attention by conducting confidential mediation proceedings as well as drawing up a confidential resolution agreement.
When compared to other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution like Arbitration and Trial by Special Judge, Mediation offers the least formal approach to resolution possible. It’s ideal for parties who wish to draw a formal and confidential resolution to a dispute and remain on good terms. Mediation, however, is not always possible. When this is the case, Judge Isaacks can also provide a more formal ADR as an arbitrator.
Arbitration
Judge Isaacks is also a highly-skilled and legally trained arbitrator with a reputation for fair and legally sound arbitration. In cases where Denton mediation services has failed or parties are bound by a contractual arbitration clause, they may wish to seek a more formal process to resolve their dispute while still avoiding the costs and public scrutiny associated with taking their case to trial.
For these parties, Denton arbitration services are an ideal solution as it still allows both sides to present evidence and argue their case before a legally trained and impartial judge just as they would if the case were taken to court.
Judge Isaacks is a Credentialed Distinguished Mediator by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association. She is also a member of the Texas Association of Mediators.
Trial By Special Judge
There are always certain disputes that arise concerning civil, family, or business matters that may best be settled in a trial by special judge. Judge Isaacks, as a former District Judge, is qualified and fully able to serve in this capacity whenever the need might arise. This option has only recently become available to citizens in the State of Texas.
